Report incorrect hours

Hours Locator is an independent information site and is not affiliated with DHL Express.

DHL Express hours describe when a specific ServicePoint or partner counter is accessible, but they do not guarantee that every sending, collection or label service is available at that location. DHL-operated facilities and authorized partner sites can also follow different weekend schedules.

DHL ServicePoint Hours Depend on the Location Type

DHL Express does not use one reliable opening schedule across its entire U.S. network. Its location directory includes DHL-operated ServicePoints as well as authorized partner locations, and each site publishes its own operating days and customer-counter hours.

Many DHL Express locations operate during daytime weekday hours. Some add Saturday service, while others close for the full weekend. Sunday openings are less common but appear at selected locations. Certain sites also publish a midday closure, creating two separate service windows on the same day.

The displayed hours apply to the location named on the listing. They should not be treated as a national DHL office schedule or as the operating hours of delivery couriers, shipment-processing facilities and customer support channels.

Sending, Collection and Label Options Use Separate Filters

DHL’s U.S. location search separates sites by what the customer needs to do. Available search choices can include sending a shipment, collecting a shipment or finding a location that supports both activities.

The search also distinguishes payment and package-preparation options. A customer may need a location that accepts payment at the counter, handles a prepaid shipment, prints a label, processes a QR code or accepts a package with an existing label. A location can be open without supporting every one of these options.

How DHL Express location and service types affect a visit
Location or service typeSchedule and access meaning
DHL Express ServicePointA staffed DHL location that may support shipment creation, payment, drop-off and collection during its posted counter hours.
Authorized partner locationA third-party business offering selected DHL services under its own business schedule and service capabilities.
Send locationAccepts qualifying outbound shipments but may not be designated for customer collection.
Collect locationSupports shipment collection when that option has been arranged for the package.
QR code or label-printing locationSupports the selected digital preparation method; this feature is not automatically available at every open counter.

Weekend Counter Access Is Location-Specific

Saturday availability is not uniform across DHL Express locations. Some ServicePoints provide a shortened Saturday window, while others operate only Monday through Friday. Partner businesses may remain open on Saturday but provide DHL transactions for only part of their normal store day.

Sunday service is more limited. A small number of listings show Sunday hours, but a nearby DHL location may instead be closed or may offer a different combination of sending and collection services. Weekend access therefore depends on both the posted schedule and the service selected for the search.

Locations with split weekday hours may temporarily stop counter service around midday. The second opening period should be treated as a separate window rather than uninterrupted all-day access.

Counter Closing Does Not Define Shipment Departure

The closing time shown for a DHL Express location identifies the end of customer access for that site. It is not necessarily the final time a shipment can enter the network for movement that day.

Shipment timing depends on the selected DHL Express product, the time the package is accepted, its origin and destination, and the applicable processing schedule. A package handed over near counter closing may be accepted successfully but begin physical movement on a later operating cycle.

This distinction matters when a shipment has a delivery deadline. DHL presents rate and transit-time commitments through its shipping tools, while ServicePoint listings describe local access and available counter services.

DHL-Operated Facilities and Partner Sites Offer Different Services

DHL-operated ServicePoints can provide staffed assistance with preparing, labeling and paying for an eligible shipment. DHL also allows customers to create and pay for qualifying shipments online, then present a printed label or supported QR code at a participating ServicePoint.

An account is not required for standard consumer drop-off options offered through DHL’s U.S. Drop & Ship service. However, package size, weight, contents and destination rules still determine whether the shipment can be accepted at a retail ServicePoint or requires courier pickup or specialized handling.

DHL Express domestic shipping availability also differs by location type. DHL states that its U.S. domestic service can be purchased through DHL Express ServicePoint facilities and eligible MyDHL+ guest shipments, but it is not offered through DHL ServicePoint partner locations. A partner counter may therefore accept an international prepaid package while being unable to provide the same domestic service available at a DHL-operated facility.
