Huntington Bank separates staffed lobby access, drive-thru banking and ATM availability on its individual branch pages. That distinction matters most on Saturdays and holidays, when one access point can remain available after another has closed.
Saturday Banking Depends on the Branch Access Point
Many standard Huntington branches follow the Saturday pattern shown in the schedule above, but Saturday service is not uniform across the network. Current Huntington location pages show branches where both the lobby and drive-thru operate on Saturday morning, branches where only the drive-thru has Saturday service, and branches where staffed banking is closed for the entire weekend.
Clare Main in Michigan is an example of the service split: its lobby is closed Saturday while its drive-thru has a Saturday service window. Cincinnati Main in Ohio uses another format, with its lobby closed Saturday and no drive-thru at that location. Other branches, including locations in Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin, list Saturday hours for both lobby and drive-thru service.
This makes the word branch important when planning a Saturday transaction. A Huntington location can still provide an ATM or drive-thru option even when its staffed lobby is unavailable.
Lobby, Drive-Thru and ATM Hours Use Separate Schedules
Huntington’s branch pages do more than publish one opening and closing time. They identify the lobby, drive-thru, walk-up ATM, drive-up ATM and interior ATM separately when those facilities exist.

For example, Huntington’s Clare Main location lists a 24-hour drive-up ATM even though the lobby is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Cincinnati Main lists 24-hour ATM access while its staffed lobby is limited to weekdays. The exact ATM format also differs by property, so a branch can have a walk-up ATM, drive-up ATM, interior ATM or a combination of those options.
Huntington’s Remaining 2026 Holiday Closures
Huntington publishes its own 2026 observed-holiday schedule rather than leaving branch closures to a general federal-holiday assumption. From August 20 through the end of 2026, Huntington lists four full observed-holiday closures for its branches:

- Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, November 26, 2026
- Christmas: Friday, December 25, 2026
Christmas Eve uses a different rule. Huntington states that all branches will close at 12:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, December 24, 2026. It is an early closing rather than a full-day branch closure.
Columbus Day is another Huntington-specific exception worth separating from the usual bank-holiday assumption. Huntington states that it will be open for normal business hours on Monday, October 12, 2026, even though the federal government observes the holiday. Federal closures can still delay transaction posting until the following day.
A Saturday-Open Lobby Does Not Guarantee Every Staffed Service
A lobby being open establishes when customers can enter for staffed banking, but individual services can have additional requirements. Huntington branch pages commonly identify services available at each location, and some specialized activities are marked as appointment-only.
Depending on the branch, those listings can include notary service, mortgage applications, investment services, insurance appointments and signature guarantees. Other staffed services shown on full-service branch pages include cashier’s checks, check cashing, wire transfers for Huntington customers, deposit-account opening and foreign-currency service for Huntington customers.
This distinction is especially relevant on Saturday, when the staffed window is already shorter at many branches. A location being open does not by itself establish that an appointment-based banker or specialized service is available during every lobby hour.
Huntington Branch Formats Do Not All Follow the Same Clock
Huntington’s locator currently covers full-service branches and ATMs across 21 states, and its individual location pages show several operating formats. Many established Midwest branches use the recurring schedule represented above, while other branches use different weekday closing times, omit Saturday lobby service or operate without a drive-thru.
Even branches in the same market can differ. Some locations provide Saturday lobby and drive-thru banking together, while others keep only the drive-thru open. Exterior ATMs can continue operating outside those staffed windows. The schedule that matters therefore depends on whether the transaction requires a teller, banker, appointment, drive-thru or ATM rather than simply whether a Huntington location is present.
