Hours Locator is an independent information site and is not affiliated with ALDI.

ALDI store hours are published for individual locations rather than as one guaranteed nationwide schedule. Weekend shopping, holiday changes and curbside pickup can therefore involve different time limits depending on the type of visit.

ALDI Uses Local Store Schedules Rather Than One National Clock

ALDI directs shoppers to its store finder for the operating hours of a specific U.S. location. The company’s support information also notes that individual store listings provide services, accepted payment information and the applicable weekly ad.

This matters for both weekday and weekend visits. ALDI does not publish a single official Saturday or Sunday schedule that can safely be applied to every store. The company’s online storefront currently shows a 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. schedule for multiple selected locations, including stores in Harrisonburg, Virginia; Claremore, Oklahoma; and Hutchinson, Kansas, but those examples do not establish a guaranteed national schedule.

For that reason, an ALDI location that opens or closes at a familiar time during the week should not automatically be assumed to use the same schedule at every other location. The store-specific listing is the relevant schedule for in-store shopping that day.

Holiday Closures Follow a Clearer ALDI Policy

ALDI publishes a nationwide holiday policy for several major dates. U.S. stores are closed on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

The company also states that stores operate with limited hours on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. ALDI does not give one universal reduced-hours time range in that policy, so an exact closing time should not be assumed for those dates.

This creates an important distinction between a full holiday closure and a shortened shopping day. Thanksgiving and Christmas, for example, are listed as closed days, while Independence Day is treated as a limited-hours day rather than a nationwide closure. For 2026, ALDI continued to identify Independence Day as a limited-hours holiday.

Curbside Pickup Has a Separate End-of-Day Rule

An open ALDI store does not necessarily mean a curbside order can be collected until the store doors close. ALDI states that curbside orders are kept in a temperature-controlled area until 7:00 p.m. on the scheduled pickup day. Orders that have not been collected by that time are canceled.

Curbside service also uses designated pickup areas and an order check-in process. After arriving, customers check in so a store employee can bring the groceries to the vehicle.

The practical result is that ALDI has more than one relevant clock: the store’s local opening and closing schedule governs an ordinary shopping visit, while a scheduled curbside order has its own pickup window and 7 p.m. holding cutoff. Holiday dates can add another layer when ALDI applies a full closure or reduced operating hours.
