Culver’s Hours: Restaurant, Drive-Thru and Closing Times

Culver’s restaurants commonly separate lobby and dine-in access from drive-thru or Curdside service. The closing time that matters depends on how the order will be placed or picked up.

Dining Room and Drive-Thru Can Have Different Closing Times

A restaurant’s main closing time does not always mark the end of drive-thru service. Culver’s location pages can list Lobby & Dine-in, Drive Thru, and Curdside as separate schedules when those services do not operate for the same period.

The DeForest, Wisconsin restaurant, for example, lists its lobby, dine-in and Curdside service ending before its drive-thru. Westfield, Indiana follows a similar arrangement, with the drive-thru and Curdside continuing after the dining room closes. Some restaurants instead use one schedule for all three channels.

This distinction is especially useful for late-evening visits. A closed dining room does not automatically mean that food ordering has ended, while a restaurant that still appears open may have already stopped a particular pickup service.

Curdside Does Not Always Follow the Restaurant Clock

Culver’s uses the term Curdside for its curbside pickup service, and participating restaurants can publish a separate Curdside schedule. That schedule may end earlier than both dine-in and drive-thru service.

The Hansen Road restaurant in the Green Bay area provides a clear example: its lobby, dine-in and drive-thru share one daily schedule, while Curdside operates during a shorter portion of the day. At The Colony, Texas, Curdside also ends before the restaurant’s lobby, dine-in and drive-thru service.

For an online order, the relevant time is therefore the availability of the selected fulfillment method rather than only the restaurant’s building hours. The options displayed for a location can change as individual ordering channels reach their closing times.

Friday and Saturday Service May Extend Later

Some Culver’s restaurants use later closing times toward the end of the week. This is not a chain-wide Friday or Saturday schedule, but it appears at individual restaurants that publish day-specific hours.

For example, the Leander, Texas restaurant lists later lobby and dine-in hours on Friday and Saturday than from Sunday through Thursday. Lake in the Hills, Illinois also extends its dining-room schedule on Friday and Saturday, while its drive-thru follows a later daily closing time. Other restaurants keep the same schedule seven days a week.

Late-night availability can also be limited to one ordering channel. A location may extend only its drive-thru, or it may extend both drive-thru and Curdside while leaving the dining room on an earlier schedule.

Why Culver’s Locations Do Not Share One Closing Time

Culver’s operates with local owner-operators, and its restaurant pages identify the operator while publishing the service schedule for that individual restaurant. The result is a network where several common opening and closing patterns appear, but individual restaurants can set different service windows.

Most ordinary locations reviewed for the typical schedule begin service around the same part of the morning, while evening closing times show more variation. Later-running restaurants can stay open into the 11:00 PM hour or midnight, and some split those later hours between drive-thru, Curdside and dine-in service.

Which Closing Time Applies to Your Order?

For eating inside the restaurant, use the lobby or dine-in schedule. For an order collected by car, the drive-thru or Curdside schedule is the relevant service clock. Delivery and online ordering availability can also end on a different timetable from physical restaurant access.

A Culver’s location showing multiple service schedules should therefore be read by service type rather than as a single open-or-closed status. This is most important near closing time, when the dining room, drive-thru and pickup channels may stop accepting customers at different times.
